A favorite childhood song of mine is the tale of a poor inchworm that is so distracted with measuring his marigold that he can't see the beauty of the flower he is measuring! It goes like this:
The inchworm: "2 and 2 are 4, 4 and 4 are 8, 8 and 8 are 16, 16 and 16 are 32.......2 and 2 are 4....."
The onlooker: "Inchworm, inchworm measuring the marigolds, seems to me you'd stop and see how beautiful they are...."
A good reminder.
Hi Stacie, Have fun blogging. I've been blogging for a little while. I have trouble keeping up with it sometimes...but it does help me to put some of my thoughts in writing.
